In hospital getting sewn back together. Also looks like I have a broken finger. Is it really necessary to have 3 races in one bunch!?

Moolman makes it two in a row as lead car takes wrong turn

An attack from the gun, a 90 kilometer four lady break away, a 2 minute minute lead on the bunch, some heroic pacing and turns on the front. The stage had been set for a dramatic finish to the 2010 Berge en Dale and we dare to speculate that the four ladies in the break were already making their wardrobe choices for the podium pics at the finish. But little did they know that absent minded marshalling and a less than vigilant lead car would conspire to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and hand Ashleigh Moolman a fortuitous win. With Moolman cleaning up the sprint at the finish, our former leaders battled on and made a race of it anyway, fighting each other tooth and nail to the finish.

Joanna Van De Winkel, Robyn De Groot and Cherise Taylor manage big smiles despite missing out on grand stand finish (not pictured Lylanie Lauwrens)
