Chengdu (17 Sep 2011)-The 7th stage of the Tour of China 2011 covered a 6-lap circuit, totalling 105km's.  It was yet another overcast day, with persistant heavy rain, despite this, the stage was completed in just 2 hours 17 minutes, a blistering average speed of 45.9 km/h.  Boris Shpilevski (Tabriz Petrochemical), the blue jersey holder, outshined with his fourth succesive stage win.
