Fundamental now presenting sponsor of the Coronation DC

(Cape Town, 17 August 2010) Following their sponsorship of a prize category at the 2009 Coronation Double Century, Fundamental Software has come on board as the presenting sponsor of the 2010 race.

The Coronation Double Century, presented by Fundamental, is a team event with twelve cyclists competing per team. Each of the teams participating has ten-and-a-half hours from their official start time to complete the scenic 202km route.

Fundamental Software's CEO, Craig Arenhold, believes the event resonates well with his company. "The Coronation DC is all about team work and at Fundamental we recognize that a team is only as strong as its weakest link."

"The Coronation DC and team work go hand-in-hand, so we'd like to welcome Fundamental Software on board and look forward to working with them," said Karl Leinberger, chief investment officer at Coronation Fund Managers, title sponsors of the event.

Entries for the 2010 Coronation DC opened last month. Only the first 2500 cyclists (roughly 200 teams) will be accepted. To date over 70 teams have already confirmed their participation.

To enter, register your team at http://www.coronationdc.co.za/. Only the first 200 paid-for teams will be accepted and team captains can confirm their team members' details at a later date. To enter you will need a valid credit card.

For event-related queries, please contact the Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust Events Office on (021) 763 7960 during office hours.
