In hospital getting sewn back together. Also looks like I have a broken finger. Is it really necessary to have 3 races in one bunch!?

Urgent Announcement: Cycling South Africa refute baseless rumours

20 October 2011 – The Board of Cycling South Africa has noted the rumours, which have allegedly been distributed widely across the media.  These are baseless and without any merit or truth whatsoever.

The tenure of the members of the board of directors as at the date of this release remains unchanged.

Further CyclingSA’s financial position is a public matter published on the official website http://www.cyclingsa.com/governance.aspx . CyclingSA is able to report a clean bill of health on all audits and a state of comfortable liquidity.

The board accordingly rejects the aforementioned allegations as unfounded vitriol designed, for some reason to destabilise and unsettle the Board’s continuing and progressive endeavours to provide and build a professional and transparent organisation, in the best interests of cycling in South Africa.

Cycling South Africa urges the cyclist to treat rumours such as these with circumspection and with due consideration to the facts.  In addition, CyclingSA also takes this opportunity of assuring all existing and prospective sponsors and/or stakeholders that it is business as usual with some great developments in the pipeline.
