Kachelhoffer takes Stage 3 of Giro del Capo

(Paarl, 11 March 2010) Team Medscheme's Hanco Kachelhoffer beat Burry Stander (Team Specialized) by a few millimetres in a photo finish at day three of the Pick n Pay Cape Argus Giro del Capo.
Stander and Jacques van Rensburg (Team DCM) finished second and third respectively.

David Bellairs, Co-Director of the Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust, had the following to say about the race conditions: "Today was pretty warm, with a bit of mist over Franschhoek Pass and sun on the road to Du Toit's Kloof. There was some wind, but not too much."
Tomorrow at 09h30 cyclists set off on the 5.5km Signal Hill time trial from Lower Kloof Road (opposite Camps Bay High School).
The Stage 3 results for the Pick n Pay Cape Argus Giro del Capo are as follows:
1. Hanco Kachelhoffer - Team Medscheme (4.28.02)
2. Burry Stander - Team Specialized (4.28.02)
3. Jacques Janse van Rensburg - Team DCM (4.28.02)
